About Us
Mantega is owned and operated by technology specialist Scott Manning. Scott has degrees in geology, anthropology, and computer science, and he combines his degrees with over 30 years of experience working in the construction industry, with 17 of those years spent working in the earthmoving/ mass excavation industry. Scott uses this unique background to apply geodetic and geologic technologies to the engineering, science, and construction industries. Specializing in subsurface imaging and GPS/ Geodetic Surveying technology, Scott has vast experience performing non-invasive subsurface surveys to search for bedrock, voids, potential sinkholes, cavities, and buried anomalies. He can use the latest in GPS and geodetic technologies to guarantee highly accurate and precise geographic locations for all field results and 3D models.
Additionally, Scott carries an FAA-107 pilot’s license, so he provides a one-stop-shop for aerial, land, and subsurface surveys. He is also an internationally licensed SCUBA diver, giving him the flexibility to apply his technology expertise to marine projects and seafloor environments. Additionally, Scott is bilingual, able to work in both English and Spanish speaking markets and is highly familiar with Native North American, Central American, and South American Cultures.
